HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY EURODISNEY!!

In the year of 1992 Disneyland Paris opened its doors. To celebrate 20 years of fun and adventure in this Disney Park, I will give you my insights on my trip to Disneyland, France.
Having everything packaged and the tickets in our hands my family and I, was ready for an adventurous trip! Actually, back then it was Easter break of 92 and it was exactly when Eurodisney started operating. As a child, it was one of my biggest dreams to get a photo with Mickey Mouse, get to the roller coaster and visit the marvelous castle with the "real dragon" in a big cage. We stayed at Disney's hotel Santa Fe which was of Mexican style. What was of great impression to me, as I can remember, was the decoration of the hotel room. On the night table next to the bed there was a fantastic mexican boot with a bulb on the top. We were of the first visitors of Disney Park and Mini Mouse and Pluto were offering lollipops and candies. Inside the whole park one could hear music at the background. The gardens were full of colourful flowers of all kind. I am sure I was a pain in the stomach to my mom cause I wanted to buy EVERYTHING, to get into EVERY single train, to taste ALL candies and burgers and to get photos with ALL Disney heroes! The funny thing is that when we were there we had a camera to capture the moments.
When I go back into this at this point of time and watch the video of the trip to Eurodisney I can hear myself screaming like a fool!! Now that I am much older not having my own family yet, I can't wait for the day that I will travel to Eurodisney with my kids! It is such an experiece for them! Even for adults it is a trip back to their childhood.

Happy 20th Anniversary Disneyland!!!
à bientôt!!

HUNGARY-POLAND FROM A FASHION POINT OF VIEW- FOOD FOR THOUGHT

My dissertation at the university was a business trip to Hungary and Poland in order to go practically through a feasibility study for a multibrand store in Western Europe. I made my business plan, booked a ticket, grap a suitcase and a laptop and travelled to unknown places. Before my trip I had everything organized down on a piece of paper. This means that a knew beforehand that at a specific time and date I had to catch the train or plane and travel from one city to another.
But let's take things in details.
I visited the three biggest cities in Poland: Gdansk, Lodz and Warsaw. The mission was to visit big shopping malls and test if it is possible for an italian store with scarves and cravates to get a space in it. I had to test the location, the rent, the space and so on and so forth. I woke up early in the morning, had a breakfast and go for my investigation. At night I was returning back at the hotel and the only thing I wanted to do was to get some shower and sleep because the next day I had to catch the flight or train to visit another city.
In Hungary, I visited Budapest which is a wonderful city. There, I did my research and I had some extra time to go to the cinema, taste the local specialties, and have some walk at the local outdoor bazzars. The issue is that when I came back from this trip I had a camera with almost a 300 photoshoots, a laptop with plenty of written ideas and thougths, and a mind full of new adventure and pictures. The only thing that made me a little bit angry was that I had to travel during summer time, specifically the whole August, when others at the same time enjoyed the sea and the sun in an island...
Nevermind, the whole story was a great experience because it was a project for a real company with real numbers and cases.
I really enjoyed undertaking a project like that!

ELAFONISOS-A PARADISE ON EARTH!

Last summer I visited a place during my vacation in Greece. It is all about a little island at the bottom of Pelopponisos, the south part of Greece. It is a fantastic place which filled me with positive energy and vibes. You can reach the place by car and next get the small boat about 15' and you are there. There are a few small hotels, a few taverns with fresh fish where you can enjoy your dinner, a few bars, and a few gelaterias. I went there with some friends without prior arrangement. We reached the place, went to a hotel, left our baggages and went directly to "THE BEACH". Believe me, Bora Bora or Maldives can easily be compared with Elafonisos! This is the way in Greece my friend! You spend the three quarters of your day at the beach, relaxing, swimming, playing rackets, drinking soft smoothie and sunbathing.
When it comes to afternoon you go to the hotel, have a quick shower and go for a fantastic dinner:  fresh fish and greek wine! After that you have a random walk with an ice cream in your hand! To finish with, you will visit the local bars for early drinks because the other day you have to get up to enjoy the light blue waters....
This is life during summer in Greece my friend!! I am so proud of being Greek!! The hospitality and kindness of Greeks is something you cannot find it ANYWHERE in the world!!!
