The 11th Althorp Literary Festival will take place on Thursday 12th, Friday 13th and Saturday 14th June 2014.
The three day festival of books will see Daisy Goodwin, Geordie Greig, Tristram Hunt, Jeremy Paxman, Francis Russell, Brian Sewelll and Charles Spencer speak about literature, history and politics in this evocative setting. A rare chance to see one of the most beautiful, and private, stately homes in England.

Follow in the footsteps of hairstylist Adam Reed, backstage at Emilio de la Morena, and elevate the everyday ponytail by...adding another one. Using Wella's Smooth Brilliance Shine Pomade, Adam advises keeping texture smooth "to give fluidity and extra swish".

Tresemme 7Day Smooth promises to keep hair sleeker for up three washes, and Elvive Fibrology Double Serum, a reparative thickening serum, is said to penetrate so deeply it continues to boost hair even after use.

We think that s/s 14's practical pool slides should be contrasted with pretty toes, and I have found the perfect shade with which to finish our "pool-shoe pedi": lilac. My new favourite is L'Oreal Paris no 851.
DIY MANI
When time is short, we are all about the DSM ( desk-side mani), but even when application is speedy, we want it to last. Thankfully, the new wave of gel-inspiredpolishes promise maximum staying power.
SKIN PRO
Up the ante and take a more professional approach with your skincare. The newest launches come complete with a brush or special applicator that will make you feel like a bona fide facialist.
FLOWER FAIRIES
Orchid is not only the make-up colour of this season. Calvin Klein has also launched a delicious new orchid-inspired scent: Endless Euphoria.
GLITTER GAZE
Our festival look this year will be Chanel couture's under-eye sparkles. Paint a line of eyelash glue then dip your brush in some Mac Pro Glitter in 3D Silver.
BESPOKE TANNING
Customise your tan using this dropper from Clarins. Small in size, but mightly in beauty kudos, it has become a Vogue office staple. Add one, two or three drops to your moisturiser for a healthy glow, warm bronze or deeper tan.
