Pourqoi ouvrir aujourd'hui a Paris?

LIBRI DA LEGGERE PER L'ESTATE

A DAY IN THE DETOX LIFE

"Ok , I'm out of bed-now what do I do?"

Nothing. First, we give body time to breathe. Then move. This is the best time to exercise. Rebounding first thing in the morning on a completely empty stomach is an ideal exercise for this lifestyle. Yoga, dance, or any other form of movement you prefer would certainly be fine as well. Try to take advantage of this moment of emptiness. What you used to perceive as a time of lack will start to be filled with the understanding that chi or Life Force Energy is another source of "food" for your body; as you stop needing caffeine or a heavy breakfast, you will start to feel realy good, peaceful, energized, and clear at this time while your systemis empty and quiet. We have been condtioned to see emptiness as a bad thing-as something that needs to be filled with outside substances. Instead, as the body becomes balanced and the energy flows better, you will actually come to enjoy the emptiness and see it as a fine and pleasant thing to be used to your advantage as you make decisions about your day, and your life, as you stretch and move your body without liquids or foods moving around inside you.
Then, when the body has a call for something we start with:
-Pure Water
-Vegetable Juices

What about lunchtime? The morning was great but now I am starting to get hungry.
Time to have your firs meal of the day. Lunch will be a big, raw vegetable salad topped with a whole avocado.
Alternatives or plus if not enough:
-Steamed Vegetables
-Baked sweet potato

Afternoon Snack:
-Soup
Idea: A delicious Pumpkin Soup

Afterwards you could have more veggie juice.

Raw veggies are always safe-you could dip them into cleansinf dipping sauce like a fresh guacamole or salsa.

Getting early to bed is always a good idea!

THE "NATURAL LOOK" CAN REQUIRE A LOT OF MAKEUP

When we hear someone say for the thousandth time how ironic it is that beauty editors don't wear makeup, we just smile and nod. The truth is that we have just picked up enough tricks over the years so that the foundation, concealer, blush, highlighter, and powder look like just a little glow.
EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE, EXFOLIATE. Even the best makeup in the world will look like dirt.if it is applied on top of skin that is dry, dull, or flaky. Regular sloughing, whether with chemicals (like glycolic aci  d home peels or nighly application of retinoids) or a gentle, grainy scrub will make skin more radiant-and allow you to wear less makeup.
Some makeup artists believe it is heresy to apply foundation directly to bare skin. They say makeup primer creates a remarkably smooth surface. If you don't want to add an extra step ad a new product, just massage moisturizer onto clean skin. Makeup will then seem to melt itno the face rather than sit awkwardly on top of it.
The famous rule about getting ready, then removing one accessory before you leave the house applies just as well to makeup. After you have done your face, turn away from the mirror then quickly turn back. You might be surprised to see that your blush suddenly looks to bright, or the shimmer on your eyes is more disco than dazzling. A light dusting of powder will tone it down.

FRAGRANCE: FIVE TOP TIPS

Women tread a fine line when applying a scent; Spritz on too little, and you might as well be wearing nothing; pour on too much, and you may find co-workers  gasping for air. Here's how to choose a scent that suits you, and how to wear it well:
1. It is easy to reach sensory overload in the perfume aisle at adepartment store. Consider rounding up a batch a scent strips (or better yet, samples) and trying them at home before you buy. When sniffing, clear your head by sticking your nose in your sleeve or in a bag of coffee between strips (many stores now offer the beans).
2. Once you have identified a contender, dab just a bit on one or two places, like a wrist and the inside of the opposite elbow. It takes about ten minutes for the scent to mix with your skin chemistry, but also wait to see how it mellows or changes through the day. It is OK if it smells different at sundown-as long as you like the results.
3. To keep fragrance from simply wafting away the pros recommend layering it on-for example use the body wash in the shower paired with a few dabs of eau de parfum (a concentrated formula) or rub on the body lotion followed by the eau de toilette (a lighter spray). Just note that two layers is plenty; three is overskill. In general, anyone within arm's reach should be able to catch a subtle hint of your scent.
4. If you have spritzed yourself one or ten times too many, you don't have to jump in the shower. Alcohol or witch hazel dabbed on the wrist or any other bombed -out bod part will remove oil based formulas.
5. To keep from overdosing, switch fragrances from time to time your nose can become desensitized to your signature scent, and when you suddenly have to put on twice as much to be able to smell it yourself, you risk overpowering others.

THE FIVE-STEP PLAN TO HEALTHY HAIR

We once walked into a fellow editor's office and found her in what appeared to be a state of religious ecstasy. Turned out she hadn't found salvation, but rather a split end that had frayed a record-setting eight times. When hair is so damaged that it snaps or spllits that  dramatically, you need to take steps to save it.

1. Lay off the chemicals
Even the strongest har can't withstand a full-on assault of peroxide and straightening solution. Talk to your stylist or colorist about how to give it a rest for at least three months (it may require a different cut or daily routine to camouflage roots or unwanted waves).
2. Shampoo gently
Hair that's weak or damaged needs a moisturizing shampoo. Wash as infrequently as possible, and unless hair is filthy, there is no need to scrub hard-just rub shampoo into the scalp, and let the runoff clean the ends.
3. Don't stint on conditioner
Those weekly deep treatments some consider a luxury are now a necessity for you. Consider slathering them on every other day before shampooing (to fill in cracks), then following the wash with a regular rinse -out formula.
4. Protect yourself
If you can't lay off the blow-dryer completely, at least minimize further damage. Coat strands with a protective styling product, wait until hair is mostly dry (so you spend less time under the nozzle), using the warm setting instead of hot, keep the dryer six inches from the head, and not point it on one area for too long. If you insist on flatironing, coat hair first with a leave-in conditioner or silicone- based product.
5. Stay out of the sun
UV rays dry out hair and ruin its color. Before going outside douse your hair with a leave-in sunscreen  treatment-or better yet, wear a hat.

HAIR: THE 10 COMMANDMENTS

1. SIGN LANGUAGE WORKS BETTER THAN WORDS WITH STYLISTS. POINT TO EXACTLY WHERE YOU WANT HAIR TO FALL.
2. FINE HAIR LOOKS THICKER WHEN IT'S CUT SHOULDER LENGTH OR SHORTER.
3. NATURALLY WAVY HAIR NEEDS JAGGED ENDS TO KEEP IT FROM GETTING TOO BUSHY.
4. TO PREVENT THE BOZO LOOK, GROW CURLY HAIR AT LEAST TO YOUR SHOULDERS.
5. LONG HAIR SHOULD'NT EXTEND PAST YOUR BREASTS.
6. BANGS ARE UNIVERSALLY FLATTERING-UNLESS YOU HAVE COWLICKS OR TIGHT CURLS.
7. FOR BELIEVABLE BLOND HIGHLIGHTS, ASK FOR UP TO FIVE DIFFERENT SHADES OF COLOR.
8. IF YOU DECIDE TO GO BROWN, DO IT GRADUALLY TO KEEP FROM ENING UP TOO DARK.
9. IF YOU HAVE YOUR NEW CUT OR COLOR, TALK TO THE SALON MANAGER-MOST MISTAKES CAN BE FIXED.
10. SOMETIMES THE ONLY CURE FOR DAMAGED, SPLIT, OR FRIED HAIR IS A SHARP PAIR OF SCICCORS.
